New Hotel and Casino Opens In Las Vegas

(Las Vegas, Nev.)—Executives from Station Casinos, Inc., (NYSE: STN "Station" or the “Company”) the premiere locals casino operator, announced April 18, 2006, as the opening date for its newest hotel-casino, Red Rock Casino, Resort and Spa located in the master-planned community of Summerlin, Las Vegas. Red Rock Resort marks the company's 15th property in Southern Nevada. The $925 million Red Rock Resort will open with over 400 hotel rooms, approximately 3,000 slot machines, 94,000 square feet of meeting and convention space, a 35,000 square-foot spa, nine restaurants, a 16-screen movie theater complex operated by Regal Cinemas, a race and sports book, bingo room, a night club operated by Rande Gerber and parking for approximately 5,200 vehicles. Phase II of Red Rock Resort, which will add another 400-plus hotel rooms for 850 total rooms, will open by the end of 2006.
